Biesous is my entrepreneurial story, grown from who I am: a curious people-person with a deep love for nature.
I'm an entrepreneur and beekeeper. For 7 years I worked in the socio-cultural sector, where I specialised in organisational development and culture as a business coordinator.
Rooted in a deep connection with nature - and especially with the astonishing magic of the bee colony - I'm building a business that helps leaders and teams work together more effectively, more humanly and more sustainably.
The mission of Biesous is simple: to translate the harmony of natural ecosystems to the workplace, so that leaders and their teams can flourish.
The workplace as an ecosystem
We. Are. Nature.
We are living beings, born from nature, connected to it and inseparably part of it.
And yet we have built systems that keep pulling us further away from it: linear, performance-driven and often disconnected from what truly gives life.
This no longer works. People are burning out, organisations are losing their resilience, the planet is groaning under our patterns. It's time for a different way of seeing, working and leading.
The workplace is a network of networks: a place of constant movement, of connection between people, of reciprocity with their environment and of mutual attunement. And that is exactly what characterises ecosystems, too.
In every ecosystem (whether a bee colony or a rainforest) all organisms are connected to one another and to their environment. There is constant communication and attunement that maintains balance and allows the ecosystem to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
Connection is the key to a liveable ecosystem. Connection is also the key to a liveable workplace. Because when we invest in the relationships between people at work, the workplace becomes more enjoyable, more effective and more impactful.
