My Story
At Biesous, we believe that the power of nature can drive organizational development.
That’s why we collaborate with our bees to enhance the well.bee.ing of your employees, create a sustainable work environment, and help shape the organization of the future.
Hello!
I’m Margot, a passionate beekeeper and dedicated entrepreneur.
For me, nature is not just a sanctuary but also a source of strength and inspiration. My passion for bees has shaped me over the years and given me valuable insights, which I proudly share through workshops and personal sessions. In May 2024, I followed my heart and took the leap into entrepreneurship. It was time to expand my passion and make a greater impact beyond small-scale workshops.
Bees are powerful teachers. They force you to pause, observe with focus, and be fully present in the moment. Beekeeping sharpens your senses, offering not only insight into the fascinating life inside a beehive but also into your role as an individual within a larger whole. The connection I feel with nature and its ecosystems while beekeeping is something magical that I love to share with others.
Thanks to my experience as a team coach and HR professional, I understand how crucial it is to create a 'healthy' organizational culture. A culture of open communication, safety, and self-reflection fosters engaged employees and sustainable growth. When you invest in the well-being of your team, you’ll not only see increased motivation and satisfaction but also enhanced performance within your organization.
At Biesous, I combine my passion for bees with my expertise in HR and organizational development. I bridge organizational growth and culture with the life lessons we can learn from bee colonies: collaboration, leadership, and the importance of a well-balanced team dynamic.

Experience
Experience as a beekeeper
In 2019, I started beekeeping as a hobby, but it quickly grew into a passion that I share with my partner Uther. Over three intense years, we learned the craft under the guidance of master beekeeper Antoon Rooryck and truly mastered the art of beekeeping.
Today, I give the traditional craft a modern twist. Sustainability and the well-being of bees—and other pollinators—are at the core of everything I do. I combine craftsmanship with contemporary insights to contribute to a healthy, thriving future.
Experience with people management
For three years, I worked as a socio-cultural worker at Voem, where I elevated my soft skills to a professional level. I led various projects in collaboration with colleagues, partners, artists, and volunteers. After this period, I transitioned into the role of business coordinator, where I spent four years managing key areas such as well-being, HR, strategy, finance, and policy development.
My strength lies in the unique combination of strong people skills and strategic insight. I firmly believe that a solid strategy can only truly succeed when people’s well-being takes center stage and a safe, supportive work environment is created with sustainability as a core value.
